Game of Thrones actor Darren Kent passed away after battling health issues for a while. He was 39.
His talent agency, Carey Dodd Associates, announced his passing on Tuesday in a message on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that on Friday, our beloved friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully.
His best buddy and parents were by his side,” the message said. “During this trying moment, our hearts and thoughts are with his family. Adieu, my friend.

Kent was 39 when he passed away, Samantha Dodd of the Carey Dodd Associates told CNN. Dodd did not state what caused the death.
The actor, who was born in Essex, England, is most known for portraying a goatherder from Slavers Bay in an episode of the popular HBO drama series Game of Thrones.
He also made appearances in the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman and the long-running British TV program EastEnders.

In addition to Marshal’s Law, he has also appeared in Bloody Cuts, Shameless, Community, and the BBC adaptation of Les Misérables.
In the 2008 horror film Mirrors, he played his first important role. His most recent role was a reanimated corpse in the March 31 release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

He has produced and directed a number of other short films, including You Know Me (2020), which won a January Award, and Rogue Trader (2019).

In a memorial tribute to Darren Kent deceased friend on X, Lee Mead called Kent “an amazing human being.”
“Always generous of his time to others and so upbeat. He was a good actor as well, and he accomplished a lot. What terrible news,” Mead continued.
In addition to paying respect on X, director and screenwriter Jane Gull, who collaborated with Kent on the National Film Award-winning 2023 film Love Without Walls, shared a number of images of the late actor in action.
