All The Right Moves

You've got to move it, move it!

Make an invention that moves an object, across a room with a bare floor, without you lifting it.

WHAT YOU NEED:
• piece of plywood
• marbles
• rope
• balloons
• tape
• straws
• newspaper

INSTRUCTIONS:

All you can use are the above materials. That's it.

Now pick your object… your choice… and get moving!

What object did you try to move?  Was it a good choice?  Why, or why not?

Which materials did you use? All of them?

Did it work?

Now it's time to experiment.

Try to come up with another way to move an object, but this time it must be a heavy object, and it must be across a carpet or large mat.

Record what you did, the challenges you faced and if you succeeded or not.

Now, try to move an object across water!
