The aim of this project is to take photographs of things that look like a letter of the alphabet.

Go on a hunt for ideas...every day objects, and natural elements will no doubt provide inspiration and lots of possibilities!

Maybe a curved trunk of a tree might look like a C, or an S.

Perhaps your dogs tail curves right around like an O.

Interconnecting roads or paths might form an H, or T, or I... or many other letters.

What could you make with railway tracks?  Railway crossing sign?

What about the shapes of leaves, flowers, clouds?

Water droplets or small pools?

Road signs, poles, interesting fences?

Household items?

See if you can find at least one photo for each letter of the alphabet.

Once you have all your photographs, decide how you would like to display them.

You could use a scrapbook, with each letter written on a seperate page and the appropriate photos displayed around it. Or you may like to design a poster on thin card for each letter. Or maybe a PowerPoint presentation is more your stlye.

You could leave space for more relevant photos to be added, as you obtain them over time.

You can also set up your display so that the actual letter is hidden under a flap, or in a pocket, or on the back of the page. Then you can have some fun seeing if your friends or family can guess the letter you have represented!
