Geometric Art

Using the geometry vocabulary below, can you draw pictures which use the shapes listed in each description?

You can add other things as well, to finish your picture, but each picture must contain the geometric shapes listed.

You might like to think of a theme to try to draw all your pictures to fit... eg Christmas, scenes from a Fairytale, Hallowe'en, nature etc.

Geometry Vocabulary:

• radius - the distance from the centre of a circle to its edge
  
  
• equilateral triangle - a triangle which has three sides of the same length
  
  
• isosceles triangle - a triangle which has two sides of the same length
  
  
• scalene triangle - at triangle which has no sides of the same length
  
  
• quadrilateral - any polygon having four sides, such as a square or parallelogram
  
  
• arc - any part of a circle
