If Only They Were Wizards

It is your job to put together a presentation to show other Wizards, who have little to do with Muggles, the difficulties they face, so that they might understand them better and feel a little more sympathy for them.

Each day, for a few days, go through newspapers or magazines and find stories which show Muggles having troubles that could easily have been handled by Wizards.

Cut the articles out…
Make sure your Mentors etc. have finished looking at the paper/ magazine first!

Put them into a scrap book or display folder.

Do a brief re-write of the article, as if it was happening to a Wizard.

Eg… if the article said that Mr. Bloggs tried all day in vain, but couldn’t break the record for balancing turnips on his nose...

you would say...

Great Wizard Bloggs was successful in his record attempt of balancing turnips on his nose, as he applied a balancing spell to the turnip prior to the event.

Or… the rescue workers tried without success to get the car out of the flooding creek, but it was swept away. Its owner was heartbroken, as the car had been a gift from his mother...

The rescue Wizard successfully levitated the car out of the flooding creek and applied a drying spell. The owner was extremely grateful, as the car had been a gift from his mother.
