BOTOX TREATMENT
Need a Lift? Botox Treatment Could be the Answer
Some may consider wrinkles as terrifying and might be thanking medical researchers for bringing the fabled Botox treatment into the world of aesthetics.
In 2002, Botox finally received the approval of FDA (USA) for cosmetic use, after being exclusively used for treating twitching eyes and cerebral palsy.
Now, many people, mostly women, are getting their fair share of Botox.
For those who do not yet fully understand what the treatment is all about, Botox is a shortened name for Botullinum Toxin Type A, a kind of protein extracted from clostridium botulinum bacterium, which is injected into the facial muscles to prevent wrinkles from appearing.
Botox treatment is a 10-minute non-surgical procedure that is most popular among adults to prevent age traces from appearing, hence, to look younger, but the effect is only as temporary as four months or a little longer, if you are lucky. |

At first collecting criticisms, Botox seemed to have fared well in the market and was later dubbed as a medical breakthrough.
Botox does not only restore visual youth, it is also known for treating such medical conditions as cervical dystonia, excessive sweating, migraines, headaches, cerebral palsy, cross eyes, and gastroparesis.

Opposite from the belief that one should not make too much facial expressions after taking Botox, the patient can still freely move their facial muscles, smile from end to end or frown.
The lines on the face gradually disappear after a couple of days and say goodbye to visible aging for at least four months.
Then, the wrinkles will return as the last time you saw your face so the procedure must be sustained. |
Only people from age 18 and up are qualified to undergo Botox treatment. The good news is, this is not only exclusive for women; the male species that are conscious, too, about their looks are welcome to avail.
Botox Treatment Considerations
There are some considerations such as; possible allergic reactions, pregnancy, skin infections and other health problems that might get aggravated. If you are planning to try Botox, you must first consider a few important thing:
• It is important for the patient to seek a licensed surgeon or one who is well-trained in using Botox as this is a serious medical procedure.
• Take note of the pricing as well. If there are cheap Botox offers, you better not buy it. Otherwise, you are risking more than your face.
• You must immediately tell your doctors if you have cardiovascular problems. Botox may react differently and compromise your health.
• If you have any allergy or muscle problems, you must also tell the doctor.
• Botox should not be taken if you are breastfeeding.
• Plan for the procedure and make an appointment. There are a few side effects that you can tolerate anyway, like nausea, dropping eyelids (this last for about a week), redness and slight pain on the face. If you are ready to stand all these, go ahead.

| Some may look at Botox treatment from a different angle but as long as you are aware of the risks and it serves your purposes, you know you will be happy and satisfied and you have the drive to sustain it. |
