Apple iPad
The Apple iPad 3 is a rumoured new device coming soon from Apple Corp. At present it is expected they will announce the Apple iPad 3 in February 2012. The iPad 3 is rumoured to have a higher resolution screen and possibly support the faster LTE 4G wireless broadband technology coming in the second half of 2012.
This new device is a tablet computer
developed by Apple. A tablet computer is a personal computer that is pretty much visually a touch screen only.
It has been suggested that the size of this iPad tablet will be 7 inch and that there may be a 10 inch follow-up to be release in (USA) spring.
The concept of this tablet sounds mediocre: Try to think about the iPhone make it 7-inch and voila we got the new apple tablet.
The Apple iPad will be a fully touchscreen device.

Someone else who recently left Apple reportedly said that users will be “surprised how you interact with the new tablet.”

Apple had recently filed for two patents namely, Keystroke Tactility Arrangement on a Smooth Touch Surface: Ability of the system to detect the type of interaction you are playing with it.
Plus, Multipoint Touch Surface Controller: A more advance system for detecting multi points on a touch screen.

The name Apple iPad is believed to acreddited to the fact that Apple has acquired the domain name iPad.com back in 2007.
It is believed that the Apple iPad will sport a similar, but much more highly functional, touch interface to that of it iPhone cousins.

According to mac4ever: Developers had been given an iPhone OS 4 SDK which includes a “simulator” for reformatting and/or scaling applications to a new, tablet sized screen.
Obviously, for beta testing purposes to make apps compatible with the larger resolution of the new tablet, as well as other purposes.

WSJ also reported that the rumored iPad will be unveiled on a ‘10-11 inch size’ rather than the predicted ‘7incher rumour’and will be ready for shipping this March at a price of USD$1000. Its sources also suggest that the new tablet can “redefine the way consumers interact with a variety of content”
